Created for National Science Week

Ready to go for National Science Week 2021!

We’re thrilled to present Swift Rockets, a Swift Playground Book for children, their families, and the young at heart to learn a little programming, and some fabulous facts about space, and space debris.

To use Swift Rockets, you’ll need an iPad or macOS device, with the Swift Playgrounds app installed—Swift Playgrounds is available for free from the macOS and iOS App Store.

Once you’ve got Swift Playgrounds installed, download Swift Playgrounds by hitting the big button below.

If you have feedback, let us know (there’s a button below!)

Swift Rockets was built for National Science Week by Mars Buttfield-Addison in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. Thanks to National Science Week for supporting this project.

Swift Rockets is Open Source (MIT), and available from GitHub, if you want to tinker! If you just want to play, we recommend hitting the download button, above.
